SubscribeI’ve been seeing this closer at the end of emails way too often. And yeah, I get that “thanks” is a tad dusty. But seriously.
Unless you are from Australia, England or some other non-American place or if you use this IN REAL LIFE than fine. Go ahead and keep using it. You have my blessing.
If, however, you are using this to sound cool, please stop. You don’t sound cool. Or hip. Or trendy. You sound like you are trying too hard.
So to go with my own advice, I’m going to stick to three closings (if there is a proper name for closings, please enlighten me). Thanks, DYT and Peace. Because these are the things I say in real life. Ok, maybe an occasional Later dude.
